I have got it many days ago (like4-5 years) in internet. After that I just forgot about this. Today I was going through my old stuffs in Hard Disk Drive and found this. Then I decided to share this with you, readers of my blog.

The Photo is the Pulitzer Prize Winning photo taken in 1994 during the Sudan Famine. The picture depicts a famine stricken child crawling towards an United Nations food camp, located a kilometer away.
The vulture is waiting for the child to die so that it can eat it. This picture shocked the whole world. No one knows what happened to the child, including the photographer Kevin Carter who left that place as soon as the photograph was taken.
Three months later he committed suicide due to depression.
Award Winning Photography is obviously a copyright protected content. With due respect to copyright law, I have shared this photography with you because I think this photography is exceptional since it can change our thinking in many ways.

mormantik! lok ta bachcha ta ke bachailo na kan ! mormantik!
No doubt this is pathetic.
But aren’t we everyone is like that ‘poor’ photographer who had forgot his ‘duty’ while running for fame, money and more money.
do we know how many people in our country die every year in monga ( famine ) ?
many of us know, but still we are reluctant. our govt says this is fictitious. waah ! What a comedy !!
in this modern world , every man , yes every man , living a ‘better’ life is actually a killer. the killer of every life that’s taken away by famine all over the world.
There was a lot of debate between my journalist friends after this. I think the photographer at one point argued that it made sense for him to take the picture even it meant the bird ate the child because this picture was instrumental in changing the international community’s apathy to Sudan. Don[t know if this is true or just speculation. Either way, of course, I don’t think a single child should just die so a community can be saved later. Not a fan of such mutual exclusivities.
Wow….your english SUCKSSSSS!!!

Well this image is a power image that would of changed the world by showing an event hundreds of miles\kilometers
sure it may have been a very hard (shocking) thing to photograph but would of show neighboring countries\nations what is happening and there needs to be some sort of action
it take people like kevin carter to make these images for the world to change its behavior and attitudes.
Any one who wants to understand this from a photographer view should/must watch “War Photographer” about James Nachtwey it shows the isolation of the photographer and also the compassion of them to
